Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Tyler, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,500-square-foot laboratory facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Package 2 Standard Conditions, information only, does not need to be returned Package 3 Project Specifications, information only, does not need to be returned Package 4 Plans, information only, does not need to be returned Package 5 Third-Party Ethics Training, information only, does not need to be returned Package 6 HUB Instructions, information only, does not need to be returned Pre-qualification of contractors on facility contracts is waived; however, the Uniform General Conditions included in each proposal document outlines specific requirements for contract award. This project estimate is greater than or equal to $100,000; therefore, the use of a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) is required and must be submitted with proposal package. All submitted bids will be publicly opened, only successful bids will be read. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that the proposal (required documents) arrives at the above location and in the hands of the letting official, by the specified bid date / time deadline regardless of the method chosen by the bidder for delivery. Award or rejection of this project will be made by the Texas Transportation Commission typically scheduled on the last Thursday of each month. The contract for this work will not be awarded to any contractor, firm or subcontractor currently debarred from bidding on Texas Department of Transportation projects. Usual rights reserved. Bidders are cautioned to study carefully the Standard Conditions documents for compliance with these requirements. The right is reserved by the Texas Transportation Commission to reject any and all proposals. Contractor must bid all Bid Items as called for on the plans and in the specifications. All bids received will be retained by the Texas Department of Transportation and will not be returned to bidders. Conditional bids will not be considered. The Texas Department of Transportation hereby notifies all bidders that the applicable State Laws prohibiting discriminatory practices in bidding and awarding this work will be strictly adhered to. ESTIMATED COST: $2,001,000.00 Work of this project includes: 1. Renovation of the existing DHQ Old Lab Building for repurpose as a training facility in accordance with drawings and specifications. Abatement of ACM and Lead existing in the building is included in this scope of work. 2. Structure Demolition of DHQ Dead House in accordance with drawings and specifications. Abatement of ACM and Lead existing in the building is included in this scope of work. 3. Civil site work in accordance with drawings and specifications at three locations on the DHQ campus. a. Civil work associated with Renovation of Old Lab Building b. Drainage Improvements to paved area in vicinity of Dead House c. Drainage Improvements to paved area accessing Shop loading bay. B. Perform Work of Contract under Lump Sum Total cost contract with Owner in accordance with Conditions of Contract. THIS PROJECT INCLUDES 1. COMPLETE DEMOLITION OF EXISTING DEAD HOUSE INCLUDING ASBESTOS & LEAD ABATEMENT, REMOVAL OF HMAC PAVEMENT AND REGRADING THE AREA SOUTH OF THE DEADHOUSE TO PROMOTE DRAINAGE AWAY FROM BUILDINGS AND REPAVE WITH CONCRETE. 2. REPAIR EXISTING SEWER LINE IN MAINTENANCE AREA, REMOVE HMAC PAVEMENT AND REGRADING TO PROMOTE DRAINAGE AWAY FROM SHOP BUILDING AND REPLACE PAVEMENT WITH CONCRETE. 3. COMPLETE INTERIOR BUILDING RENOVATION, ADDITIONAL STRUCTURAL STEEL TO PERMIT OPEN FLOOR PLAN, NEW CONSTRUCTED RESTROOMS, NEW ENTRY VESTIBULE, NEW REAR PATIO & NEW EXTERIOR FACADE.
