Engineer's Estimated Cost: $700,000.00 The scope of work includes the installation of foundations, erection of structures, stringing of conductor and shield wires, restoration of right of way access, restoration of working space easements, and restoration of right-of-wayof transmission and distribution line easements per the Contract Documents. Overhead Line Contractor shall include costs for hydro excavation around utility locates near foundation installation locations for existing underground gas, water, sewer, telephone, and communication lines. The utility owners shall be contacted prior to excavating and for relocation of any obstructions. Safety is paramount to the success of this project. The Overhead Line Contractor shall at a minimum adhere to OSHA regulations and LP&L Project Safety and Health Program provided within the Contract Documents. The Overhead Line Contractor and their subcontractors are required to submit a project specific safety plan for review. The more stringent project specific safety plan will apply Lubbock Power & Light (LP&L), here-in defined as the Owner, will tie in the existing 115kV Thompson to Vicksburg transmission line into the new Thompson position at Vicksburg substation. The existing distribution box bay at Vicksburg substation will be removed and replaced with four (4) distribution circuits that will cross overhead above Marsha Sharp highway
