**Per Addendum 1 bid date has been extended from 10/03/22 to 10/17/22** This project is for the drainage and parking project at Warren Walker Park in the City of Douglass Hills, Kentucky. The following specifications required by the City of Douglass Hills, Kentucky for the person, firm or corporation receiving any contract to perform services for the city: By submitting its bid, Contractor agrees to the following: 1. Contractor agrees to complete performance under the Plans and Specifications from Blomquist Design Group, Inc., free and clear of all liens, claims, and encumbrances. This project is for the drainage and parking project at Warren Walker Park in the City of Douglass Hills, Kentucky. Before payment, Contractor's work must pass inspection and in all respects be of a high quality and sufficient for a public project. 2. If Contractor fails to perform the work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications, the contract may be voided at the pleasure of the city and the city may employ the services of another vendor to provide substitute services. City may, without liability, terminate the whole or part of payment under this specification until the work is finished. 3. It is anticipated that this project will be funded through federal American Rescue Plan Act Funds allocated to the city. Due to regulations and timelines imposed upon projects being funded through federal American Rescue Plan Act appropriations, it is the desire of the city to begin work on this project as expeditiously as practicable. Contractor shall comply with the appliable federal standards relating to the federal American Rescue Plan Act, which are outlined in the attached and fully incorporated Exhibit One. 4. Except as otherwise specifically provided in the specification, Contractor shall not subcontract any part of the work -- without city's consent. Such consent, however, shall not relieve Contractor of any of its obligations. The provisions of this article do not apply to purchase of raw materials, standard commercial supplies, qualified products lists, and hardware items. 5. City reserves the right to award portions of this contract to different Contractors. Contractors may bid all or portions of the project. 6. Contractor must complete the work by the 31st day of December 2022, unless additional time to complete is allowed at the sole option of the city
