The Work, in general, consists of the expansion of the existing Ag Facility, construction of a new Pre-Engineered Metal building and associated site work as shown on the drawings. No officer or employee of Gainesville ISD shall have a financial interest, direct or indirect, in any contract with Gainesville This the project consists of a renovation and expansion of the Agricultural Facility located at the Gainesville High School. This includes the enclosure of the eastside overhang of the existing building along with interiorrenovations and a new building located on the west side of the property. The enclosure of the existing building will involve a new foundation and wall panels to create an office, instructional classroom, brooding room and a maintenance area open to the outside. The interior of the existing building will be modified to create two feed rooms and floor drainsin the existing foundation. The enclosed areas will be climate controlled but the existing interior will remain heat only. The new building will be positioned on the westside of the property. This will allow the existing drainage area to remain and box culverts will be used to connect the paving as required. The building will be approximately 8,400 square feet and consist of approximately 46 10'x10' pens with trench drains, two unisex restrooms, storage room, feed room, wash and grooming areas. The building will also have an outdoor covered exercise area on the south with the size to be determined. We intend to connect the fire lane on the north of the property extending along the west of the new building with a hammerhead at the end and approximately four parking spaces including handicap. It is intended the new building will not include fire suppression.
