Site work for a municipal facility in Buckeye Lake, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The Ohio Division of Wildlife Hebron Hatchery is looking for someone to directional bore 550-600 feet and connect fiber optic internet cable from one building to another. It is possible that there is preexisting telephone conduit that can be used. Amendment: The cable needed is single-mode 6 strand fiber optic cable. LC to LC connections are needed on both ends of the cable and will need to plug into an LC Fiber Optic Adapter. We have permission from Spectrum to use preexisting conduit that goes from our office to near the second building. Some boring/trenching will still be needed. Amendment 2: Please provide 2 bids on this project. The first bid will be for using Spectrum's conduit and trenching/boring the remaining distance. Suppliers to provide a second bid price for directional boring. DNR may decide directional boring is required for this project, if Spectrum conduit cannot be used. If Spectrum's fiber is damaged, supplier is responsible for full replacement cost. DNR will award the bid based on the lowest responsive and responsible trenching cost.
