Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Desoto, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of DeSoto (City) invites participation in the Request for Bid (RFB) for experienced and qualified Contractor(s) for alley pavement reconstruction. Proposal should include the cost of new alley pavement, partial sidewalk, barrier free ramps and driveway approaches and partial private driveways reconstruction. All improvements shall meet the City's specifications. The Contractor is to supply all barricades and plates, in conformance with the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways. The Contractor(s) selected will be awarded a contract with the City. The work will consist of two (5) alley segments: 1) Belclaire Terrace - Alley pavement reconstruction from The Meadows Parkway to Belclaire Terrace, including driveway aprons, sidewalk ramp reconstruction, and connections to existing pavement. 2) Briarbrook Drive - Alley pavement reconstruction from south of Greenbrook Drive to North Hampto Road, including driveway aprons, sidewalk ramp reconstruction, and connections to existing pavement. 3) Live Oak Drive - Alley pavement reconstruction from North Polk Street to Waterview Lane, including driveway aprons, sidewalk ramp reconstruction, and connections to existing pavement. 4) Oak Meadow Lane - Alley pavement reconstruction from Sherod Drive to The Meadows Parkway, including driveway aprons, and connections to existing pavement. 5) Westlake Lane - Alley pavement reconstruction from Pine Tree Lane to Cottonwood Drive, including driveway aprons, sidewalk ramp reconstruction, and connections to existing pavement. Project Locations: Live Oak Dr, Westlake Dr, Oak Meadow Ln, Belclaire Terrace, Briarbrook Dr The City of DeSoto will accept questions regarding this Invitation For Bids until 1:30 P.M. on September 26th, 2022. All bidders will be required to comply with provision 5159a of "Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes" of the State of Texas with respect to the payment of prevailing wage rates.
