This Project is one phase and renovates approximately 83,000 GSF of interior spaces to update classrooms, offices, and social science labs on all 4 stories plus basement, plus related exterior, MEP, and landscape work. Provide new ADA bathrooms and common spaces at interior core areas. Abatement: ACT flooring, misc. in chases and basement. Renovate & upgrade plumbing systems and add a full-building fire sprinkler system. Upgrade lighting, electrical distribution & AV/ instructional technology. New natural gas 150KW emergency generator. Replace HVAC: air condition entire building, upgrade ventilation, new DOC controls, with ground source geothermal heat pump system with wells in the Academic Quad. Replace fire alarm, telecom/data systems. Add access card system to approximately 1/2 of doors. Repair or replace exterior concrete steps at north and south ends. Infill 4th floor open courtyards and replace roof.
