Snow Removal Subcontractors BID Sealed bids to plow snow for Chestnuthill Township roads for the 2022-2023 winter seasons are hereby requested. Bids should include an hourly rate for all required equipment including fuel and manpower. The Township will be accepting separate bids for: 1) Dump trucks, single or tandem axle with 11' power angle plow and cinder spreader. 2) One and a half ton trucks containing a dump body, dual wheels, plow and cinder spreader. 3) One Ton trucks containing a dump body, plow and cinder spreader. 4) Specification for all proposed equipment should be included, as well as your insurance certification. The Township reserves the right to modify the routes on an as needed basis. The bid will be required to be on Penn Dot form MS-970 supplied by the Township by calling Ryan Schlogl at 570-992-7247. The Township will supply all required cinders, salt or other surface treatment Bids will be discussed and possibly awarded at scheduled Supervisors Meeting on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 271 Route 715, Brodheadsville. The Supervisors reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
