A timeline for award has not yet been established.** SCOPE The City of Troy, New York is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors capable of performing the installation, storage, and removal of the Downtown Troy marina docks, Fire Dept. dock, and Ingalls Ave boat Launch dock, and all associated components. Approximately 880 linear feet of dock, 4 gangways, 3 platforms, associated electrical feeds, water feed, sanitary feed and any other component encompassed by the "Downtown Troy Marina" are included. Docks shall be stored by the contractor. The location of storage is subject to review and approval by the City of Troy. for storage throughout the off season or winter months. The Fire Department dock must be installed by April 1, subject to water and weather conditions as well as agreement with the City of Troy. All other docks must be installed and ready for use by May 15th (weather contingent) and removed no later than November 15th (weather contingent) each year. In order to qualify for bidding, contractor should have performed work within the City of Troy in the last 5 years and be based within a 50-mile radius of project location. Bidders that do not meet this requirement shall have opportunity to meet with the City to review references. Project Location: 401 River St - Downtown Troy Marina Ingalls Ave Boat Launch City of Troy, Rensselaer County, New York The successful bidder is required to pay the Prevailing Wage Rates and the Prevailing Hourly Supplements pursuant to Section 220-A of the NYS Labor Law. A certified check, payable to the City Treasurer, for five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid, or a bid bond in the same amount must accompany each bid. Completion: The Fire Department dock must be installed by April 1, subject to water and weather conditions as well as agreement with the City of Troy. The Work for the spring will be substantially completed by May 15th, and the work for the fall will be completed by Nov 15th . Weather dependent based on river flow and unforeseen events. Owner and Contractor also recognize the delays, expenses, and difficulties involved in proving the actual loss suffered by Owner if the Work is not completed on time. Therefore, instead of requiring such proof, Owner and Contractor agree that as liquidated damages for delay (but not as a penalty), Contractor shall pay Owner Five Hundred Dollars ($ 500.00) for each day that expires after Bid-Result Spring Installation CD Perry , LLC-$79,739.64 Fall Removal & Storage CD Perry , LLC-$79,739.64
