Site work and renovation of a religious / funeral development in Brookline, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a religious / funeral development; and for site work for a religious / funeral development.

Scope of Work for Foundation Rebuild beneath Annex of Brookline Meetinghouse Overview: Replace foundation of 1890's wood-frame 38' by 30' addition to historic Brookline Church (north, east and south elevations). Includes: Removal of, but keep on property, stones of current stone foundation. Excavation of replacement foundation beginning at southwest corner of wood structure. Trench is to be 20" wide and 30" below grade and continue that bottom level under the east and north walls. Fill trench to height of 14" with 3/4 " crushed stone properly compacted. Pour a concrete "grade beam" 16" high by 20" wide of not less than 3,000 lbs. per inch concrete containing two parallel half-inch rebar midway in beam. Finish Wall of south side to be 8" thick and 10" high consisting of 4" mortared concrete block backing faced with mortared "bury-rated" brick. The above grade east and north walls are to be mortared native stone. Crawlspace access shall be in the east wall near southeast corner and 36" wide. A pressure treated panel door shall be constructed for said access opening. This wood addition is to be made level on the rebuilt foundation. Install 1.5"River stone at eave sides (north and south) over weed barrier extending 6" beyond drip line. East side to be grass to building. Where necessary and appropriate, a top-soil berm shall be installed around foundation such that the exposed finish foundation will appear of consistent height. Bid to include grass seeding of new berms, where necessary. Any lawn damaged in the performance of this work shall be reconditioned/repaired to original condition. South side entry stairs and east side kitchen stairs shall be reset from any disruption. Anticipated completion date of October 15, 2023 depending upon a grant being awarded for this project. Current proof of workers compensation and general liability insurance must be included with the bid. The Town of Brookline reserves the right to reject any or all bids and accept the bid most favorable to the town.
