Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 12 Public notice is hereby given that the PUBLIC BODY wishes to issue a call for tenders relating to the execution of roof snow and ice removal on request, for all establishments. INFORMATIONS As of September 12, 2022, any person or company will be able to obtain the tender documents on the website of the Electronic Tendering System. The pricing list can be found under Customer Service. Tender documents can only be obtained through SEAO. APPLICABLE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS This invitation to tender is subject to the following intergovernmental agreements:
AGREEMENT TO LIBERALIZE PUBLIC CONTRACTS IN QUEBEC AND NEW BRUNSWICK;
TRADE AND COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN QUEBEC AND ONTARIO;
CANADIAN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT;
COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC AND TRADE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CANADA AND THE EUROPEAN UNION; SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK The work covered by these presents includes, but is not limited to: The service provider must provide roof snow and ice removal services at the request of the PUBLIC BODY, in accordance with the laws, regulations, codes and standards applicable in the field. These Services must be rendered at the request of the PUBLIC BODY, and within the time limits established in this Estimate. The frequency and number of service calls are uncertain and may vary substantially from year to year as they depend on weather conditions. The PUBLIC BODY cannot therefore guarantee any volume of service calls. INFORMATION MEETING AND SITE VISIT No information meeting or visit is planned.
SUBMISSION GUARANTEE The BIDDER must accompany his Bid with a bid guarantee equivalent to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the total price proposed in his Bid including the options.
If the Bid is transmitted electronically, the bid security must be produced in the form of a bond issued by a Financial Institution and comply with the provisions of the model bid bond reproduced in appendix 4.01 of the Bid Form.
If the Bid is transmitted on paper, the bid security must be produced in one of the following forms: a) a bond issued by a Financial Institution in accordance with the provisions of the model bid bond reproduced in Appendix 4.01 of the Bid Form; b) a certified cheque, money order or bank draft, made payable to the PUBLIC BODY; CLOSING OF OFFICES If, for exceptional circumstances, the PUBLIC BODY has to close its doors on the day indicated for the site visit and/or for the receipt of tenders, this date will be postponed to the next working day, at the same places and times. This tender notice represents an overview of certain conditions set out in the tender documents, of which it forms an integral part. The tenderer must read all the tender documents.
