Renovation of a medical facility in Renton, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 22,633-square-foot medical facility.
** As of October 21, 2022, project has not been awarded yet. ** Project consists of adding additional interior and exterior shielding to allow the existing Linear Accelerator to operate at higher energy levels as described in May 2nd, 2022 Physicists Report. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bid security shall be made payable to "Board of Commissioners, Public Hospital District No. 1 of King County" Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Bidders qualifications shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with Section 00 4513 - Bidder's Qualifications. Bidder's qualifications are subject to approval by Owner Written requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall reach the Architect by the date indicated below. 1. Date: Seven (7) calendar days prior to bid submittal date.
