The scope of work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for the placement of a rubberized chip seal and fog seal on Old Black Canyon Highway in Black Canyon City from Valda Rose Road to Coldwater Road. Project length is approximately 12,010 feet and the total estimated quantity of area to receive the rubberized chip seal is approximately 51,925 square yards. Total estimated quantity of fog seal coat is estimated at 5,193 gallons. Other associated work includes restoring pavement markings. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. All proposals shall be submitted in strict accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDING included on the website and submitted on the documents provided therein. Bids shall include all applicable taxes and must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price bid, made payable to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. Bidders are invited to be present at the opening of bids, but absence will not be considered cause for disqualification. Bidders shall be responsible for any licenses or permits required by the regulatory agency of the State of Arizona that apply to the performance of this contract. The Board of Supervisors of Yavapai County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Yavapai County.
