Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Ashford, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
This is a request for quotations (RFQ) for the National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park. The work of this contract is to have the floors replaced within apartments in the unit T-117 located at 55210 238th Ave E, Ashford, WA 98304. Quoters shall refer to all attachments to this solicitation available in SAM for Solicitation number 140P8322Q0094. This project is being solicited and awarded as a total (100%) small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238330, Flooring Contractors, with an associated small business size standard of $16.5 million. The magnitude of construction for this project is less than $25,000. A single firm fixed-price construction contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. Replace flooring in apartment units of T-117 as described in the scope of work. Please address all questions/inquiries and offers by e-mail to: hal_hoversten@nps.gov **Tax Exemption #53-0197094 applies to all taxes** Product/Service Code: Z2FA Product/Service Description: REPAIR OR ALTERATION OF FAMILY HOUSING FACILITIES Period of Performance: 10/03/2022 to 11/30/2022 Contractors are required to enroll in and submit a PDF invoice along with the payment request through the Internet Payment Platform Scope of work Contractor shall supply and install vinyl flooring in the bathrooms and kitchens. Four inch rubber base shall be removed and replaced at all vinyl surfaces. Carpet will be installed with wood base board left in place in all other floor surface areas in a total of 8 apartments located in T-117. There are four (4) each one bedroom apartment units approximately 550 square feet and four (4) each two bedroom apartment units approximately 990 square feet (Please see floor plan for vinyl and carpet surface areas). The contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing carpet. The vinyl surface areas can be left in place or removed and prepped for new vinyl by the contractor. All colors and patterns shall be approved by NPS prior to install. All labor and materials shall be supplied by the contractor. Single room units Line 10: Vinyl and carpet shall be installed per manufacturers recommendations. The sheet vinyl shall be Tarkett (brand name or equal), Starters, 65 Mil. Thick with 12 mil. Thick wear layer or equivalent. Carpet Shall be Aladdin (brand name or equal) Commercial, Rule Breaker 26 or equivalent Double room units Line 20: Vinyl and carpet shall be installed per manufacturers recommendations. The sheet vinyl shall be Tarkett (brand name or equal), Starters, 65 Mil. Thick with 12 mil. Thick wear layer or equivalent. Carpet Shall be Aladdin (brand name or equal) Commercial, Rule Breaker 26 or equivalent Contractor shall verify all measurements prior to ordering replacement items. Contractor shall be responsible for all cleanup and removal of old flooring, scraps and excess materials, supplies, fasteners, adhesives, sawdust, and debris. Contractor shall be responsible for any damage incurred directly or indirectly to National Park property during the entire process of the contract. Vinyl and/or carpet flooring approval. National Park Service shall select color, style, pattern, and quality of proposed materials and evaluate manufacturer recommendations prior to acceptance of the offer. Site Visit (Construction). (FEB 1995) - Alternate I (FEB 1995) (a) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. (b) An organized site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday September 14, at 10:00 am Pacific Daylight Time. (c) Participants will meet at the Tahoma Woods housing apartment building T-117, located across the river from the Longmire work site, approximately 9 miles East of Elbe off of State Route 706. The address is 55210 238th Ave E, Ashford, WA 98304. Take the first right hand turn after turning off of SR 706 into the housing area. (End of clause) INQUIRIES a. To ensure Offerors' questions are adequately addressed and appropriate action taken prior to submission of offer, questions must be received no later than five calendar days prior to proposal due date shown in the latest amendment.
