The New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA) is seeking proposals from firms of licensed professional engineers to serve as the Authority's General Consulting Engineer, to provide engineering services as required of the Consulting Engineer under the terms of the Authority's Revenue Bond Resolution of 1996, and to provide such additional miscellaneous engineering services as the Authority shall, from time to time, require. The successful proposer shall demonstrate to the Authority an extensive history of similar performance delivered to the operators of bridges of the type and size operated by the New York State Bridge Authority. Extensive familiarity with large suspension bridges of through truss and under deck truss designs (cantilevered and continuous) is necessary. Knowledge of NYSBA's facilities will be considered a serious advantage.
