Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Carpio, North Dakota. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The Ward County Highway Department will engage the services of a prequalified engineering firm to perform preliminary engineering on the following project in Ward County Scheduled to be included in the NDDOT November, 2023 Bid Letting. Bridge Removal of Structure No. 51-128-26.0, 170th Ave NW, Over the Des Lacs River, 3 East 2 South Carpio. Bridge Replacement of Structure No. 51-151-54.1, 111th St SE, Over Oak Creek, 3 West 5 South Sawyer. Work to be performed by the consultant includes:Creation of SOV, Environmental Docs, ROW or Easements, Plans, Bid docs, submittal of a BrR model and load rating report of the new structure as part of the NDDOT Load Rating Manual, and additional services. Ward County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
