The State of California (State), Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD) manages, maintains and operates state buildings and grounds statewide, pursuant to Government Code Section 14685 (a), which authorizes DGS to establish rules and regulations for the government and maintenance of state buildings and grounds. FMD is procuring services for Boiler and Chiller maintenance and repairs on state property. The services will be performed at the following location: Waddie P. Deddeh (Building #860) Written Question Submission Deadline September 21, 2022 Questions and Answers to be Posted September 23, 2022 The State anticipates a 36 month term for this Agreement. Bidders are encouraged to carefully read the entire solicitation. The need to verify all documentation and responses prior to the submission of bids is the responsibility of the bidder and cannot be overemphasized. Please ensure insurance requirements and, if applicable, prevailing wages are considered in your bid amounts. Should prevailing wage be required, August 2022 rates will apply. Note: Bidder (and any listed subcontractor) must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 10115 subdivision (c) and Military and Veterans Code (MVC) section 999.2 subdivision (a), Bidders are required to meet a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation goal. The required participation for this agreement is 3%. Bidder must document the required DVBE program participation on Attachment 3, Bidder Declaration (GSPD-05-105).
