This Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) is an invitation by the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board (SMCDSB) to prospective Applicants, to qualify in accordance with to the RFSQ requirements, for future eligibility to provide the General Contracting Services for Capital Projects, day-to-day and emergency requirements. Respondents selected as defined in this pre-qualification document will become a Vendor of Record (VOR) for a period of three (3) years. SMCDSB will invite the successful respondents to participate in opportunities as defined in this prequalification document. The Board will be prequalifying Mechanical Contractors based on the following Categories: a) Category A1 - HVAC: total estimated cost is less than $25,000. b) Category A2 - Boilers: total estimated cost is less than $25,000. c) Category B: Total estimated cost greater that $25,000 and less than $250,000. d) Category C: Total estimated work greater than $250,001 and up to $2,000,000 e) Category D: Total estimated work greater than $2,000,001 and up to $20,000,000 f) Emergency requirements. Deadline for Questions October 20, 2022 The Board will be prequalifying Electrical Contractors based on the following Categories: a) Category A: total estimated cost is less than $25,000. b) Category B: Total estimated cost greater that $25,000 and less than $250,000. c) Category C: Total estimated work greater than $250,001 and up to $2,000,000 d) Category D: Total estimated work greater than $2,000,001 and up to $20,000,000 e) Emergency requirements. Note: Contractors who are currently on the Board's Vendor of Record (VOR) listing are required to respond to this RFSQ.
