Project Number- MÉ0533 The Maryland Environmental Service (the Service) is distributing this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit information on the potential development, construction, and implementation of a project for the beneficial use of landfill gas (LFG) generated at the Midshore II Regional Solid Waste Facility (Midshore II Landfill) located in Caroline County, Maryland. Design of an LFG utilization system for the site. o Financing of the GCCS, as designed by EA Engineering (or modified to better suit LFG utilization technology), and associated LFG utilization technologies (e.g. LFG-to-RNG, LFGto-electricity, etc.). o Permitting, construction, and installation of a GCCS and/or LFG utilization systems. o Operation and maintenance of GCCS and/or LFG utilization systems in compliance with all regulatory requirements and to control LFG migration and nuisance odors. o Financing, design, construction, and installation of GCCS and/or LFG utilization system expansion(s) (e.g. vertical wells at landfill closure, etc.). o Marketing and sale of any LFG conversion products (e.g. electricity, RNG, liquid fuels); o Marketing and sale of any environmental attributes (e.g. carbon offset credits, renewable energy certificates, renewable identification numbers, etc.) Questions Due Date: Oct 11th 2022, 2:00 PM EDT Intent to Bid Due Date: Oct 25th 2022, 2:00 PM EDT
