Renovation of a library in Shorewood, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The work is to be performed in accordance with the Construction Documents as prepared by Ethos Workshop Architects, 105 West Jackson Avenue, Suite 2, Naperville, Illinois 60540. Construction Documents will be issued electronically to qualified bidders only. All bidders will be required to submit a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Base Bid, payable to the Shorewood-Troy Public Library. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labour and Material Payment Bond. The Shorewood-Troy Public Library reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Shorewood-Troy Public Library. The Contract shall be subject to the provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) to the extent required by law.
