As of November 29th, project was awarded to Stansell Electric Company, Inc.. However, awarded amount was not disclosed. The City of Pigeon Forge is planning to install holiday lighting exhibits along a 1.3 Mile section of its Riverwalk Greenway. The lighting exhibits will start along the greenway at the western end of the LeConte Center parking lot and extend east along the Riverwalk to the Butler Street/Old Mill Avenue intersection. The City has purchased the lighting exhibits separately. This contract includes installation of multiple underground electric services to serve the new lighting exhibits along the Riverwalk. This includes, but is not limited to, branch power panels controlled by contactors, individual receptacles in weather resistant enclosures, power cabinets with multiple receptacles, and other associated electrical infrastructure to provide 120-volt power to the 20 lighting exhibits. Additional underground conduits will be included for low voltage systems provided by others. The work will be awarded in one Contract. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act. The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of its Bid in response to this Invitation to Bid. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to readvertise.
