Renovation of a water / sewer project in Belton, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
For the removal and installation of filter media at the District's Belton water plant located in Belton, Texas. Bell County Water Control & Improvement District No. 1 (District) is removing and replacing filter media in three (3) conventional media basins located at 5200 Waterworks Road in Belton, Texas. Background: Plant 4 was built in 2000 and is rated for 35 mgd. It has six (6) dual media filters which consist of: 24"-anthracite 12"-sand 12"-various size of supporting gravel ranging from 3/4 " to 1/16" Underdrain is Leopold System.
