Contact Info Amanda Cauble acauble@centralsan.org Online Q&A No Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Project Duration Approximately 4 years Start/Delivery Date January 2023 Bid Valid 90 days NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (hereafter referred to as "District" or "the District" or "Central San" or "Buyer"), Martinez, California, invites and will receive Sealed Bid Submittal Packages, consisting of the Bidder's Qualifications and Bid, for the selection and purchase of the new Ultraviolet Light (UV) Disinfection Equipment System and technical support services, in conformance with the Contract Documents. Sealed Bid Submittal Packages consisting of two parts: 1) Qualifications and Criteria Form, and 2) the sealed Bid; that have been duly received will follow the procedures identified in Specification Section 00200, Instructions to Bidders. The District will only open Bids from vendors that meet the Qualifications in Part 1 of the Bid Submittal Package. These Qualifications include, but are not limited to, equipment technical requirements, ability to use the equipment within the existing building and infrastructure, installation within the United States, and availability and location of service centers for future maintenance and spare parts. The Notice to Proceed for design assistance is estimated to be by January 12, 2023. o Submittal preparation (and any received resubmittals) by March 31, 2023. o Design assistance and coordination by May 31, 2023. o Design submittal (100%) review by August 31, 2023. o Fabrication and Delivery is estimated to be required by October 31, 2024. o Support services during construction shall be completed by January 31, 2025. o Testing, startup and final construction completion by March 31, 2025. The District Board of Directors reserves the right to award the Contract, to reject any or all Bids, to waive non-material and inconsequential irregularities in any Bid, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, non-responsible, or conditional Bids. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
