Site work and paving for a civil project in Camlachie, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The removal and replacement of Culvert 22 on Brush Road over Highland Creek. The work approximately consists of the supply of all labour, materials, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for the following: - Removal of the existing corrugated steel pipe (CSP) culvert. - Supply and installation of a new precast concrete box culvert, two (2) precast concrete cut-off walls and four (4) new precast concrete block wingwalls with stone finish on face (Redi-Rock, Lock-Block or approved equivalent). - Supply and placement of rip-rap on filter cloth in select locations for erosion and scouring protection. - Supply and placement of riverstone in the bottom of the new concrete culvert and in the watercourse at the inlet and outlet. - Placement of new gravel road and shoulder structure over new culvert and re-grading of the existing gravel approaches to match. - Re-grading and seeding the embankments, roadside ditches, and creek banks and restoration of all affected areas to pre-construction condition or better. - Other miscellaneous civil works.
