The City of Hays is accepting bids for the construction of Fire Station #3, the remodeling of crew quarters at Fire Station #1, and a Police Garage. Contact KCNR at electronic files. Liquidated Damages: Should the contractor fail to substantially complete the work in the number of calendar days indicated in the bid, the contractor will be charged liquidated damages in the amount of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) per calendar day that the work is not substantially complete. Bid Documents are available for viewing at the office of the Owner and the Architect. Bid documents are available digitally from Kansas Construction News Report (KCNR LLC). Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. G. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 31 00 - Available Project Information. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. I. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 45 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
