Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in San Pablo, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 42,000-square-foot fire / police facility; for site work for a 42,000-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project involves design and construction of a new two-story building of approximately 42,000 square feet to serve as the Citys new police headquarters (Police Headquarters) and training facility (Training Facility). The Police Headquarters will accommodate approximately 88 full-time Police Department employees and the Training Facility will include potential uses including, but not limited to, classroom settings with sufficient capacity for seating and/or mat room for formal instruction and training as well as a 20-lane gun range. Schedule: Design: February 2023 - August 2023 Construction: September 2023 - April 2024 MEPF: Fire Sprinkler, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical scopes will be design build by Subcontractor. You will pick up where this design left off and carry the Engineer of Record. Skilled and Trained workforce requirement in accordance with Public Contract Code section 2600 et seq., or will abide by a project labor agreement that requires use of a skilled and trained workforce, in full compliance with Public Contract Code section 22164(c). Alternates: (see alternates folder in files tab). Alternate #1 - Range Facility (Deductive). Alternate #2 - Clean Agent Fire Suppression (Additive). Alternate #3 - Motorized Roller Shades (Additive). Alternate #4 - Monument Sign Package (Additive). Alternate #5 - LEED Certification (Additive). DBE and DVBE participation is encouraged.
