The Societe des traversiers du Quebec invites all suppliers meeting the requirements of this call for tenders to submit prices for the work indicated in the price schedule of this document and in accordance with the requirements of the call for tenders documents. 2. INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT The following intergovernmental agreements apply to this tender: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) / Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO) / Agreement on the Liberalization of Public Procurement in Quebec and New Brunswick (AQNB) / Intergovernmental Agreement on Public Procurement between the Government of Quebec and the Government of the State of New York (AQNY) / Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union (CETA) . PLACES OF WORK The work will be carried out at the following locations: Lot 1 : o Saint-Laurent-de-l'Ile-d'Orleans; o Quebec; o Levis; o Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive; o Isle-aux-Coudres; o Montmagny; o Isle-aux-Grues; Batch 2: o Wolf River; o Saint-Simeon; o Our Lady of Seven Sorrows; o Isle-Verte; Batch 3: o Baie-Sainte-Catherine; o Tadoussac; Batch 4: o Matane; o Baie-Comeau; o Goudbout. The service provider may submit a bid for the lot(s) of its choice, ie for one lot, two lots, three lots or all the lots (4 lots). 10. SUBMISSION GUARANTEE The tenderer must provide with his tender a tender guarantee valid for 45 days from the date fixed for the receipt of the tenders, for an amount corresponding to: 1) 10% of the amount of the Bid, if the guarantee is provided in the form of a bid bond issued in favor of the Societe des traversiers du Quebec, by an institution which is an insurer holding a license issued in accordance with the Act sur les assurances (RSQ, c. A-32) authorization to practice suretyship insurance, a trust company holding a permit issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (RSQ , c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (RSQ, c. C-67.3), or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (SC, 1991, c . 46). This bond must then comply with the provisions of the "Tender Bond Form" provided in the appendix. WHERE 2) 5% of the amount of the Bid, if the guarantee is provided in one of the following forms: o certified or certified cheque; o mandate; o treaty; o irrevocable letter of guarantee. For any tender with joint participation of several contractors, the tender security may be provided in varying proportions by each participating contractor. The STQ retains the bid guarantee of the lowest compliant bidder until the moment the contract is signed. It also retains the bid security of the second and third lowest compliant bidders for up to 45 days or until the contract is signed by the successful bidder. As bid security, only the surety bond and the irrevocable letter of guarantee are accepted when transmitting a bid electronically. No other form of guarantee is accepted with this mode of transmission. If the tender documents provide for another form of tender guarantee and the service provider wishes to rely on it, the tender must be submitted exclusively in paper form.
