Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of Proposed 3,820 gpm Triplex Sanitary Sewer Pump Station including but not limited to: > Reinforced, Cast-in-Place Concrete Wet Well and Dry Well > Three (3) Self-priming Sewage Pumps and controls > Split-face CMU Pump Station building with Standing Seam Metal Roof > Electrical including Stand-by Generator > Site Work > 14-inch Ductile Iron Force Main with Bypass Pump Connections and Tie-in to Existing 8-inch PVC Force Main The Project has an expected duration of 480 days. The Owner has developed a goal of ten percent (10%) for participation of minority-owned and women owned business enterprises in construction contracts awarded pursuant to NCGS 143-128. Bidders must comply with the Owner's requirements for W/MBE documentation. As of November 30, 2023, a notice was issued advising that the project is being rebid and bids are now due on December 13, 2023. The City reserves the right to reject any and all BIDS.
