The City of Rocky Mount ("The City)" is requesting statements of qualifications from professional engineering firms licensed in the State of North Carolina to provide engineering, architectural, and/or consulting services related to the renovation of The City Warehouse located at 720-724 Albemarle Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27801. The City Warehouse, constructed in 1946, is a converted tobacco warehouse, approximately 190,000 square feet. The City is seeking to remodel two areas within the Warehouse facility. The first consist of approximately 4200 square feet on the first floor. This area will be converted into storage space for the RMPD Quartermaster and office space will need to be constructed for approximately 25 employees. On the second floor, the city is seeking to build an evidence storage space of approximately 800 square feet. The budget for the project is $1,000,000 to include design services. This is a time-sensitive project. Interested firms should have prior experience supporting Police related facility projects.
