Site work and paving for a civil project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

WATER MAIN ALTERATIONS AND RELAYS, at the following locations: W. Walnut St. (WT410220001), N. 12th St. to N. 20th St. (53 working days) and N. 17th St. (WT410220688), W. Galena St. to W. Walnut St. (13 working days). (Note: Contractor to furnish and install approximately 640 lin. ft. of 12", 8", 6" and 4" ductile iron pipe. City to furnish miscellaneous materials as shown on plans and proposal form.) Time for Completion: Work shall begin immediately following contract execution. All work including pavement resto- ration for the following project shall be completed by March 31, 2023. Contractor shall use multiple crews, as necessary, to complete the work within the contract schedule. Due to the schedule for this contract MWW will allow water main construction between December 15, 2022 and March 15, 2023 at the discretion MWW construction engineer. Liquidated Damages, per diem: $343.00 The residency requirement for this project is 40% of all hours worked on the project. One quarter of these hours must be attributable to residents living in the following zip codes: 53204, 53205, 53206, 53208, 53210, 53212, 53215, and 53233. The SBE requirement for this project is 18% of the contract base bid. The SBE Compliance Plan (Form A) must be submitted with the bid and is an element of bid responsiveness. SBE certificates must be submitted with the Form A. If there are any questions regarding SBE firms, please contact the OEI office at 414-286-5553. The apprenticeship requirements for this project are: 1 Construction Craft Laborer. If this contract is awarded at $500,000 or higher, 25% of all apprentice labor hours must be worked by apprentices certified for participation in the Residents Preference Program and 40% of all apprentice labor hours must be attributed to apprentices living in the following zip codes: 53204, 53205, 53206, 53208, 53210, 53212, 53215, and 53233 The contractor shall specifically note the SBE, residency, and apprenticeship forms for this project. If the forms are not filled out properly, it will be cause for rejection of the bid. Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor's Base The original bid bond document must then be submitted by the contractor to the Department of Public Works Contract Office in-person or by mail to 841 N Broadway, Rm. 506, Milwaukee, WI 53202, immediately upon being notified that they are the apparent low bidder The Prime Contractor awarded this project is required to participate in training on the City of Milwaukee's LCP Tracker Labor Compliance Software after the date of contract award. Throughout the contract term, Contractors are required to regularly provide timely payroll information via LCP Tracker. Please contact the DPW Contracts Office at 414-286-3314 should you have any questions or concerns regarding the training or reporting process. DAVIS BACON COMPLIANCE PROVISIONS: The City of Milwaukee has applied for funding for all projects in this contract through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) adminis- tered by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. This contract is subject to the Davis Bacon Compliance Provisions. The contractor shall submit weekly payroll certification, utilizing the Payroll form included in the contract documents or equivalent. AMERICAN IRON AND STEEL (AIS): All iron and steel products provided by the contractor shall be produced in the United States and comply with the American Iron and Steel Requirement (AIS).
