Construction is scheduled for FY 2027 but work could begin as early as FY2026 if funding becomes available. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Transportation Region/Bureau: Northwest Region Solicitation ID: NW-01 Anticipated Construction Cost: $8,000,000-$8,999,999 Route : USH 063N County : 55 - St Croix County Limit : Ush 12 W to Polk County Line The pavement and structures need treatment to extend their service lives and safety will be improved. Perpetuation project to resurface approximately 21.1 miles of USH 63 from USH 12 W to Polk County Line, Towns of Hammond, Baldwin, Emerald, Erin Prairie, Cylon, and Forest, in St. Croix County. Work includes a 2" Mill (25' wide) of the existing asphalt pavement and a 2" HMA Overlay (except at intersections, turn lanes, and passing lanes (mill and relay entire width). From CTH E to approximately 700 feet South of STH 64, mill entire width and widen paved shoulders to 5' and add shoulder rumble strips. Structure work includes replacing C-55-1358 with a precast concrete pipe, sealing the construction joints on C-55-1376, sealing the west construction joint on C-55-1356, adding rip rap to both abutments of B-55-0217, concrete surface repair to the deck soffit of B-55-0102, and joint replacement and concrete surface repair of the deck soffit on B-55-0242. The project work also includes a Through Route Activated Warning System (TRAWS) at the CTH G intersection, spot beam guard replacement, minor culvert work (cleaning, lining, replacements, relaying, scour repair), ditch cleaning, roadside clearing, and pavement marking. The contract price will be based on an estimate of the selected consultants actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution. Information on the report may be found electronically. Advertised Fixed Fee %: 7.25 The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultants estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate.
