Demolition and renovation of a fire / police facility in Roseburg, Oregon. Working plans call for the renovation of a 6,000-square-foot fire / police facility; and for the demolition of a fire / police facility.

As of February 8, 2024, per owner, an architect has been identified. A general contractor has been selected. Project is between design and construction stage, working on permits with county. Demolition is scheduled to begin mid February 2024 if permits are obtained. Lookingglass Rural Fire District (the “District”) is seeking proposals from firms for the engineering, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical design for the Seismic Rehabilitation of the Lookingglass Fire Station (the “Project”), located at 7173 Lookingglass Road, Roseburg, OR 97471. In May 2022, the District applied for and received a Seismic Rehabilitation Grant (“SRG”) for the project through the Infrastructure Finance Authority: Business Oregon, based on the application prepared by ZCS Engineering & Architecture. The intent of this RFP is for the consultant to provide an integrated design solution for the entire building. Proposals shall be submitted by firms that comply with the qualifications outlined in the RFP document. All interested firms must submit a Proposal pursuant to the requirements set forth in the RFP document. The District intends to use either the typical Design-Bid-Build procurement project delivery method or the CM/GC procurement project delivery method for this Project. Pre-Design/Schematic Design would begin immediately upon award and approval of the resulting design contract. Construction is anticipated to start in June 2023 with the Project completion expected by September 2023.
