Contractor is responsible for the disposal of stockpiled C&D and Non-C&D household debris/material by means of dumpster/truck. This material is storm damage and includes brick, masonry, tile, drywall, household items (toys, carpet, linens) and metal items. The Debris is stockpiled at 1099 York Road in the City of Mt. Juliet. Any potential is bidder is encouraged to visit the work site prior to preparing a bid. Contractor is responsible for providing dumpsters/trucks to be haul material offsite. Contractor is responsible for all costs associated with removal and disposal and shall be included in the unit bid price. The work is to be bid with options to have city employees load the material and also for the contactor to load the material. That price should also include any costs of equipment and labor to be used by the contractor to perform the work. Before any work begins, both the contractor and a representative from Public Works will agree on the amount of material that is to be disposed of. If city employees are used to load the material, there is no guarantee that it will be sorted and separated. It will be loaded as is and awaiting removal. Dumpsters/trucks will be loaded to a safe capacity to ensure each dumpster/truck is being utilized effectively and efficiently.
