The project is referred to as Lindsay Southeast, C-71(866) and is located on 460th Street between 430th Avenue and 445th Avenue in Platte County, Nebraska. This project shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of approximately 0.36 miles of grading, 9 doweled concrete pavement with subgrade preparation, culvert installation, and other related incidental work. The Contractor will be allowed fifty (50) calendar days for completion after beginning work. The required completion date for the site will be the earlier of the date indicated in the bid proposal or the actual start date plus the allotted calendar days for that site, or the required completion date for that site. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the County Treasurer of Platte County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to provide a Start of Construction date and End of Construction date with its Bid Proposal.
