Demolition, site work and new construction of a power facility in Eugene, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a power facility; for the construction of a power facility; and for site work for a power facility.

Currin Substation Rebuild : EWEB requires construction services to rebuild the Currin substation located at 0000 N. Garden Way in Eugene, OR. The new Currin Substation will feature an 8-terminal breakerand-a-half AIS configuration and 8 position medium-voltage metal clad switchgear. Work is expected to begin December 2022 and completion by November 2023. A. The Project includes site development and rebuilding of Eugene Water & Electric Board's (EWEB) existing Currin substation. This rebuild project consists of four (4) breaker-and-a-half bays with twenty-five (25) 115kV 1200A V-switches, one (1) 117.875/12.47KV, Dyg, 20/26.67/33.33 MVA transformer, twelve (12) 115kV 2000A breakers, thirty (30) 115 kV potential transformers, one (1) 15kV potential transformer, a pre-fabricated control enclosure with distribution switchgears and the switch/PT/bus support/deadend structures and foundations. B. Regrading of existing substation site and included development of access road. C. Demolition drawings will be provided to identify equipment to be removed. Below grade foundations, existing ground grid and conduits are to be fully removed and per the demo drawings. D. Existing septic tank and water pipe will be replaced with underground sewer holding tank outside of substation and new sewer and water lines. E. New distribution transformer will be installed with oil containment and oil/water separator. F. The existing substation fence will be replaced with 8ft tall Shakespear non-conductive perimeter fence. G. The pre-fabricated control enclosure with distribution switchgears has a termination cabinet for construction contractor to interface with substation yard cables. H. Permits required for this project included, but not limited to, CSMP, 1200 CN, Building Permit, Plumbing Permit with Lane County, and an Adjustment Review with Eugene" I. Construction contractor shall coordinate with EWEB on equipment in the existing control house and haul away all existing outdoor equipment, including the existing power transformer, regulator, and high voltage breakers. J. Substation construction is expected start December 2022 and complete by November 2023.
