SET-ASIDE: The appropriate set-aside will be finalized based on the results of this sources sought. It is anticipated that this project will be procured as a 100% Small Business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $39.5 million. The type of work to be performed will be categorized under PSC code Y1DA Construction of Hospitals For information concerning NAICS and SBA size standards, go to https://www.sba.gov SUMMARY OF SCOPE The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, and services for the renovation of staff quarters at the Cheyenne River Health Center in Eagle Butte, SD. This project will include patch work for damaged sheetrock, interior painting of walls, appliances, minor furnishings, replacing existing bulbs with LED bulbs, and replacing existing carpet with vinyl plank flooring. This project will also have minor repairs & renovations throughout the units. Quarters units are used for recruitment and retaining purposes for critical staffing positions. Staff quarters shall be safe, clean, and free of deficiencies prior to occupancy. Units 116 - (2 bedroom with basement), 118 (3-bedroom duplex with basement), 200 (1-bedroom duplex with basement), 213 (2-bedroom duplex with basement), 228 (3-bedroom duplex with basement), need renovations. Units 116, 118, 122, 186, 200, 213, 215, 228, 236, 264 all need duct cleaning. Unit 116 recently went through a kitchen fire and will need to be cleaned professionally before renovations are started. Units 213 & 215 also need to be professionally cleaned prior to work being started. Additionally, Unit 160 needs a flush cart service to its geothermal well field. Unit 118 & Unit 236 have plumbing issues that need resolved.
