Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA), a political subdivision of the state of Ohio, is a regional transit authority created pursuant to Ohio Revised Code, Sections 306.30 through 306.53. COTA undertook operation of a transit mass transportation system within Franklin County and portions of Delaware and Licking Counties on January 1, 1974. Any questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted via the online bidding portal at https://cota.dbesystem.com by no later than September 26, 2022 - 5:00 p.m. EDT. The following request for Quotes will be used in the selection of a contractor for repair and maintenance of parking lots at COTA owned facilities. The contractor awarded the purchase order will provide the service beginning October 1, 2022 and expiring September 30, 2025. Contractor is to perform services consisting of, but not limited to, preventative maintenance and repairs to meet all manufacturers recommended specifications and shall include time and materials for sealing asphalt, crack filling, asphalt patching, striping, parking lot sealing, minor concrete repairs, and small concrete pours. Warranty for service work minimum 90 days parts and labor. All billing should be done as time and materials. Other equipment or services may be requested by the Facilities Manager or Director. This work shall be done on a time and material basis. The Requestor of work, on a case-by-case basis, shall provide to the Service Technician a description of the scope of work to be performed. The Service Technician shall provide Requestor a written estimate for requested work prior to commencement of work. COTA shall consider each service (Concrete and Paving) as a separate quote and shall award contracts accordingly. So multiple vendors may be selected.
