The Kent County Department of Social Services intends to acquire Day Porter Services for the purpose of clean and wipe down high contact surfaces in common areas at our 350 High Street building in Chestertown, Maryland. This Contract will be for 1 year, October 17, 2022 to October 16, 2023. The day porter is responsible for making sure KCDSS building looks neat and presentable to the public, by cleaning and wiping down the high contact common areas. This helps to ensure the health of our customers and employees. KCDSS building includes eight (8) restrooms, one (1) kitchen, one (1) conference room, one (1) customer lobby, one (1) customer training room, five (5) customer interview rooms, one (1) meeting office, and one (1) child play area. The Contractor shall provide reliable personnel to provide daily services, Monday through Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm. These services must be preformed in an orderly, continuous, and consistent manner, to ensure effective delivery of services to cause minimum amount of disruption to agency operations. General Requirements: Day Porter will enter through the main office door at 350 High Street. Day Porter must wear a mask while in the building. Day Porter must sign in, date and time on a log provided by the Security Guard when entering the building. Day Porter must report to the office at 9:00am. Day Porter must sign out, date and time, on the log provided by the Security Guard when exiting at the end of their shift. Day Porters shift ends at 3:00pm
