Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 60,000-square-foot, four-story above grade theater / auditorium.

Please be advised that Mascaro Construction Company, L.P., acting as Construction Manager to the Pittsburgh Symphony Society, will issue a Request for Bids for the Heinz Hall 2023 Window Replacement and Terra-Cotta Repair project, funded in part by The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Office of Budget, Bureau of Revenue Capital & Debt Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), on Thursday, September 15th, 2022 in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 pm EDT on Thursday, October 20th 2022, per the Instructions to Bidders provided in the bid documents and opened immediately thereafter. The project consists of the following work & trades: - Removal and replacement of windows - Repairs to the Terra-cotta facade, including select replacement - Replacement of the exterior facade lighting - Roofing work to support facade repairs - Restoration of an exterior metal balcony - Painting - Scaffolding to support work Plans, specifications, and all associated documents will be available to all interested parties on or after September 19, 2022. Please email heinzhall2023@mascaroconstruction.com to request the bid documents. Contractors must contact the Construction Manager for project documents. Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442; Title VI and other applicable provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Department of Labor Equality Opportunity Clause (41 CFR 60-1.4); Executive Order 11625 (Utilization of Minority Business Enterprise); Executive Order 12138 (Utilization of Female Business Enterprise); in compliance with Section 504 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; the Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program enacted July 1981, which set forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran owned Small Businesses.
