Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals are being requested for the installation of new storage tanks and equipment in a new 24' x 40' waterworks building constructed under separate contract at the Grahamsville Fairgrounds located on NYS Route 55. The work shall include the provision of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform the work. The scope of work according to a plan and specifications to be let by the Town of Neversink includes the provision and installation of four (4) -- 2,500 gallon polyethylene water storage tanks in the new building, two (2) pressure booster pumps, chlorine disenfection system, controls, piping, valves, flowmeter, electrical services associated with new equipment, piping installation from two existing wells and related items to provide a complete and operating system. All excavation and backfill work will be performed by the town highway department in coordination with the building contractor. Completion of the work is requested by March 31, 2023. The work will be subject to the prevailing wage rates established by the New York State Department of Labor. Non-Discrimination in Employment -- Bidders on the work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order, which concerns non-discrimination in employment, are explained in the contract documents. Bidders are also required to comply with the provisions of Section 290-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York. Statement of Non-Collusion -- Bidders on this contract are required to execute the non-collusive bidding certification required by Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.
