Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Gardiner, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Sealed proposals are being requested for the construction of a 24 x 40 waterworks building at the Grahamsville Fairgrounds to replace an existing water supply system equipment vault and storage tanks, located on NYS Route 55. The work shall include the provision of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform the work. The scope of work according to a plan and specifications to be let by the Town of Neversink includes installation of a concrete foundation and floor slab, insulated concrete form (ICF) exterior walls and wood-frame truss roof structure. Excavation work and backfill will be performed by the town highway department in coordination with the building contractor. The tanks and equipment will be provided and installed under a separate contract. The work will be subject to the prevailing wage rates established by the New York State Department of Labor. Bidders on the work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246. The requirements for bidders and contractors under this order, which concerns non-discrimination in employment, are explained in the contract documents. Bidders are also required to comply with the provisions of Section 290-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York. The Town of Neversink, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any formality or any technicality in any proposal in the interest of the Owner. Bidders on this contract are required to execute the non-collusive bidding certification required by Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.
