Renovation of a municipal facility in Keene, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of October 7,2022, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid. The Town of Keene is requesting proposals for the purchase and installation of a new heating system at the town hall. Please see the attached specifications. Proposals will be evaluated on both cost and the ability to complete the installation in a timely manner Contractor to purchase and install the following or equal items in the town hall 1. 4 ton, 48000 BTU LG or equal heat pump with 3 linesets and interior heads: a. 1 located in the town court room b. A second head located in the main area of the town hall c. A third head in the back offices of the town hall d. A fourth set left for future use 2. All existing forced air trunks to be cleaned or replaced for use with the new LP forced hot air unit. 3. Purchase and install new LP forced air unit with humidifier in basement of town hall and attach to existing trunk lines or new lines if existing cannot be cleaned. Contractor's choice. Unit must be equal or greater than unit already existing. 4. Suggested to inspect town hall prior to submitting. The Town of Keene retains the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
