Bids for the Construction of Water, Sanitary, and Drainage Facilities in Jones Creek Reserve at McCrary Meadows Sec 1 The purpose of the geotechnical study was to explore the project sites subsurface soil and groundwater conditions, and to develop geotechnical recommendations for the various project infrastructure elements. The scope of services included the following: 1. Field exploration program consisting of 10 soil test borings (B-1 to B-10) advanced to depths of 20 to 50 feet below ground surface to evaluate the subsurface soil and groundwater conditions. 2. Laboratory tests on recovered soil samples to evaluate soil index and strength properties. 3. Geotechnical report deliverable summarizing the findings and providing geotechnical design and construction recommendations. The authorized scope of services did not include either an environmental site assessment or a geologic fault study.
