For High Point Truist Point Stadium Modifications The City of High Point, North Carolina, hereinafter referred to as "Owner" or "City," will undertake the design and construction of the City of High Point Truist Point Stadium Modification Project located at 301 N Elm Street, High Point, NC. with City of High Point Council approval, the Owner is proceeding with this project with a qualification process (this RFQ) to determine and approve interested and competent Design-Build teams, hereinafter referred to as "Design-Builder(s). The total project budget for the City of High Point Stadium Modification project is anticipated to be $5,100,000 for the entire project, turnkey, including all costs and fees. Question Deadline 09/21/2022 at 3:00 PM ET The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, as may in the judgment of the City, serve its best interest, and the City further reserves the right to waive irregularities and informalities in any proposalsubmitted. The successful proposershall be required to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws and regulations and all other applicable governmental laws and regulations as set forth by the City of High Point,the State of North Carolina and the United States. This project must be completed by and no later than March 1, 2024. Replacement of the existing artificial turf to meet color/pattern and playability for both baseball and soccer. o Retrofit existing netting system or replace netting with a system that will accommodate lowering and raising net to accommodate baseball and soccer, with safety of the fans as the top priority. o Remove portion of the first base grandstand that angles sharply towards the field in order to move the field 20 feet closer to the seating area for the entire length of the field. This will allow for creation of a new attraction on the right field side to potentially include a bar and covered patio area, additional suite amenities, at ticket box office and restroom facilities. o Finish out of existing unfinished space to accommodate soccer locker rooms. The current unfinished space as designed is already plumbed for showers, toilet and lavatories but remains unfinished. o Evaluate existing facilities to maximize storage opportunities for baseball and soccer uses.
