The City is requesting proposals to provide design services for the Police Department Locker Room Renovation Project. Proposers must have sufficient expertise and experience to complete the work described in the Scope of Services. Scope of Services
The City of San Bernardino requests designs services to construction, in general, the improvements listed below. Additional improvements may be identified during the planning phase of the project.
Desired improvements for police department locker rooms:
Increasing number of full-size women's lockers through renovation/expansion.
Renovation of two women's bathroom and shower areas to create a single area.
Renovation of men's locker room showers, sinks, and toilets to prevent leaks.
Expansion of individual locker storage volume for men's and women's locker rooms.
o If feasible, include taller lockers and space below for boots storage.
o Narrower lockers may be approved to allow more total lockers spaces if total locker volume can be the same or increased.
Improve locker air circulation/ventilation.
Replacement of carpeted locker room flooring with hard surface to facilitate easier cleaning and disinfection.
