The Swansea Water District (District) invites sealed bids in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B from Prequalified and Preselected Contractors for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) Pilot Program The District, through its Prequalification Committee, has prequalified three firms interested in submitting bids for this project. Only prequalified firms will be permitted to submit bids. Work Under This Contract Shall Consist of: Supply of Automatic Meter Reading (Amr) System Equipment and Water Meters. The Scope of Work Shall Include a Pilot Program for Proof of Concept With the Future Intent to Install System-wide Residential Water Meters, Radio Frequency (Rf) Modules, and Support & Maintenance Services. Materials Shall Be Delivered Within 30 Calendar Days From the Notice to Proceed. Award Will Be Made to the Bidder With the Lowest Total Contract Price That Has Been Deemed Responsible and Eligible. No Bid Deposit is Required. The Districs Chief Procurement Officer Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informality in or to Reject Any and All Bids if It is Deemed to Be in the Best Interest(S) of the District. All Bids Are Subject to the Provisions of All Local, State and Federal Regulations.
