The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR), on behalf of the University of Arizona, is soliciting proposals from interested vendors to furnish the University with a properly heat treated AL6061-T6 disk to have a low internal stress and fine grain structure,and the delivery of the final machined mirror blank shall be compliant to the tolerances specified in the UA's drawing number UML OAP-001, titled UML OAP Flat Core. The final machined surface shall be Ra 125uin (goal of Ra 63uin) or better. Questions concerning this RFP must be submitted in writing, and be received no later than September 20, 2022 at 12:00PM MST. All Vendor inquiries, questions and requests for clarification related to this RFP are to be directed, in writing via email, ONLY to Attn Celeste Kanzig Email : cdkanzig@arizona.edu. The University reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Such rejection may be without prior notice and shall be without any liability of any kind or amount to the University. The University shall not accept any proposal that the University deems not to be in its best interests. The University shall reject proposals submitted after the Due date and time.
