Site work for a road / highway in Ocala, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Marion County Office of the County Engineer (OCE) is seeking qualified bidders to contract for repair and replacement of damaged or obsolete guardrail, and install new guardrail at previously unprotected sites on Marion County roads as necessary. Bid Bond 5% NOTE: All prospective respondents are hereby advised to NOT CONTACT County officials other than Marion County Procurement Staff with regard to this project. All questions regarding this project shall be faxed to 352-671-8451. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. Marion County believes that hiring done through this contract should, to the maximum extent, be offered to citizens within its boundaries that are unemployed or seeking work for the first time. To that extent, the firm awarded business under this contract will be contacted by the Workforce Connection, our regional workforce development board, to discuss hiring through its staff and services. Your participation with Workforce Connection is not required as a condition of award, but rather an opportunity for greater support for the community and your firm in hiring assistance.
