Renovation of an educational facility in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
4 buildings, 5 units each, totaling 20 units need HVAC, plumbing, interior painting (walls & ceilings), lights, and kitchen casework. The work is to include replacing existing water supply valve per each building, switching to electric heat pump system, replacing windows and touch up paint at those locations, considering water heater switch out (instantaneous water heater should be considered), changing hood exhausts to ductless hoods and cap exhaust ducts, and installing new solid surface counter tops. Wood plank flooring is to remain. The budget range for the project is approximately $2,315,000.00 to $2,659,665.00. The objective of the University for this project is to complete the project on time and within the project budget in a safe and workmanlike manner with a minimum of disruption to the existing building occupants. Coordination and cooperation among contractors and sub-contractors will be a key to success. Work will also be occurring at the same time as other work by the University by other contracts or its own shop forces. Awarded Contractor shall be responsible for the coordination of work under this contract with work by Owner and other Contractors. * QA Construction Services, Inc. is requesting HUB Subcontractor pricing no Later than 5:00 PM, Friday, October 21st, 2022.
