Renovation of a detention facility in Augusta, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Domestic Water Pipe Repair Project - The facility is located at 144 Jerry Lane, Augusta, WV 26704 and is in Hampshire County. Question Deadline 09/30/2022 at 2:00 PM ET Work must be completed within 30 calendar days. A. The West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DCR) is soliciting bids to establish a contract to repair the domestic water pipe that is located in the ceiling in the dorm 'B' housing unit. Below is additional information concerning the project: 1. There is a three (3") inch copper pipe that is downsized to a two (2") inch copper pipe. It appears that the water leak is leaking from the three (3") inch to two (2") inch reducer. Below is a list of materials that will be required for the contractor to make the repairs. a. One (1) - two (2") inch x four (4') feet copper piping b. One (1) - three (3") inch x two (2") inch copper pipe reducer c. One (1) - two (2") inch x two (2") inch copper pipe coupling d. One (1) - two (2") inch x two (2") inch copper pipe shutoff valve e. One (1) - two (2") inch x two (2") inch copper pipe ninety (90) degree angle elbow f. If there are any additional required materials that will be required other than what is previously listed above, the contractor mustprovide and install at no additional cost. 2. In the dayroom of dorm 'B', there is a ceiling access door that the contractor can access the area above the ceiling to make the repairs. The existing spiralauger is located in an open concrete pit.
